Document & Extra Fields Selection in Grouping QR Codes
Estimated Reading Time: 2 MinutesThe grouping feature has always been designed to enhance efficiency by associating multiple QR codes under a single code without the need to physically merge the goods. Users can now select which documents or extra fields to attach to the QR codes during export.
This enhancement offers several key benefits :
- It streamlines document management by allowing you to attach specific documents to grouped QR codes directly within the export process
- It enhances customization by letting you select extra fields relevant to your operations, improving data accuracy and relevance
- It improves efficiency by reducing the need for manual document handling, saving time, and minimizing errors
Here’s how it works :
- First, you access the Grouping Feature section in your dashboard and select the QR codes you wish to group
- When exporting grouped QR codes, you will now see an option to select specific documents to attach. A list of available documents will be displayed, and you can simply check the boxes next to the documents you wish to include
In addition to documents, you can also select extra fields that you want to attach to the grouped QR codes. This can include fields such as batch numbers, expiry dates, or any other custom fields your organization uses. These extra fields can be selected and are in the next tab close to documents.
Once you have made your selections, click on ‘Export’. The system will compile the grouped QR codes along with the selected documents and extra fields into the export file.
